How to Take Doer Sessions
1. Message online and by text message to schedule desktop, laptop or Android video chats.
Doer allows you to take paid video or audio sessions on your computer or Android device. Schedule sessions by messaging with clients via text or your Doer profile inbox. When your client makes a "session request," s/he will be prompted to input payment. After that, you can start your paid video or audio session!
2. Take sessions with Chrome/Firefox on your computer or Android device, with good wifi.
You can take an audio or video session on the Doer site using Chrome or Firefox on your computer or Android device. Both users should press the yellow video icon for a two-way video chat. Either side can use the audio button to share audio only. If you use Firefox, you may be required to click the "enable audio/video" pop-up.
Either side can cancel the session within the first three minutes with no charge to the client. The session will automatically time out after 90 minutes. You can adjust your minimum session time in your profile at any time to continue a session past 90 minutes.
3. Be prepared with the right equipment and by communicating about the client's goals.
Both sides should message in advance about the client's goals to make sure that the session will be useful and efficient. A good headset can help reduce audio feedback or assist in noisy locations. If you have limited bandwidth, consider using audio only.
